Time, how much time?

Some people wonder how much time does it take to record an audiobook. Here's the scoop. You read the book at least 4 times. Once before you start, to prepare for the overall tone and any voices you will need. Second, you read it into the microphone, and thirdly you listen to it carefully to ensure you recorded it exactly the way the author wrote it. Lastly, you listen again and correct any extra unwanted noises. This means a two-hour book will take a minimum of 8-10 hours to turn into an audiobook.
